VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and Pratt Whitney Canada Singed a Long-Term Cooperation Agreement

PSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and Pratt Whitney Canada signed a long-term framework agreement on cooperation in August 2007 at the International Aerospace Show MAKS-2007 in Zhukovsky (Moscow region). The agreement defines relations between the two companies for the period of 10 years and is an important milestone of integration of Russian aircraft material producers in the world market. Pratt Whitney Canada performs a number of projects in Russia and has several engines powering Russia’s Ansat and Mi-38 development helicopters and Ilyushin-114-100 aircraft. PSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation is a world major producer of titanium. VSMPO-AVISMA affiliate companies make part of the same process flow and employ over 22 thousand people. VSMPO-AVISMA exports account for 70% of its total output, with the remaining 30% covering domestic sales. The world’s leading aircraft manufacturers are among VSMPO-AVISMA major customers.
