VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will Participate in the International Air Show MAKS-2007

The Air Show will be held on August 21-26, 2007 in Zhukovsky city, Moscow region. The particular feature of this Air Show is that for the first time many Russian aircraft-building companies will appear under the aegis of the United Aircraft-Building Corporation, which will demonstrate all the latest achievements of the Russian aircraft-building industry. All aircraft equipment exhibited at the Air Show will contain titanium produced by VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation. At MAKS Air Show, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will for the first time in Russia represent the world’s largest titanium die-forging for the world’s largest European aircraft А380 and titanium die-forging for the American Dreamliner В787. Both parts will be used in the aircraft landing -gear. These parts were exhibited only at foreign air shows before. The Company will also represent the samples of machined die-forgings, which is the promising line of the Company’s activity.
